Channeling strength and optimism.

Power and maintaining a positive outlook is what I wanted to convey with this new piece. Although the end product is a bit different than the original sketch, I was still able to get my point across. Visually, the original sketch was a little more aggressive. Rather than jamming the entire piece with as much direct strength and power symbolism as possible, I opted to switch the background to something a little less intense. The dreamcatcher seemed to be the perfect solution. The optimistic sentiment of remembering the good (dreams, specifically) and forgetting the bad is something that, in my opinion, speaks of strength. I wrapped up the piece with a bear of a double frame, made from reclaimed wood.
